| I guess this is pretty much for those who even still use Xanga... don't really know - maybe someone out there does. Anyway, life is good. I've been in Mexico for 3 months - went up to Michigan for Christmas to visit my family and friends and then as a bit of a bonus I guess, I got to see my boyfriend every day... oh yeah, last time I wrote on here we weren't together. Ok, some of you will remember that I dated Ryan Hiaeshutter for a couple months last fall (of '05) and then we broke up. Well, long story short, we got back together a week (literally) before I left for Mexico. We got to spend a few days together during my week-long visit to Dallas in November for Thanksgiving.
In the first month of my stay in Mexico (whole thing will be 12 months), I got sick for two weeks, had to get the house sprayed for bugs, and rearranged my room a total of 3 times... for those of you who know me really well, the last item is nothing compared to what it could be in a new environment!!! If you want to stay updated on my work in Mexico, I am posting my completed projects online using Flickr... I also send out monthly email reports which you can receive by sending me your email. I am going to cut this short now as it's almost 1 am and I am whipped tired. Still haven't caught up on my sleep...

| Alright... here's an update for ya'll.
It's official - I'm moving to Mexico. Leaving in September to go work
with Jon & Karla Vereecken's ministry for a while (not sure for how
long exactly). For those of you who don't know them, they've been
missionaries for years supported by my church here in Michigan. That's
actually about all the details I've got so far but I'll try to keep
stuff posted so ya'll know what's going on.
Other than that, I just got back from Kids Camp which went AWESOME! Had
an amazing group of girls that all got along really well... we had some
great talks along with lots of great experiences together (like horse
back riding, tubing, and going down the zip line)... I will post
pictures soon on my myspace site so keep posted for that.
I gotta go - dinner time, but I'll catch up later!! (maybe...)

| Apparently I can never please anybody - either the posts are too long or too short (see last post) well to tell you the truth you should be glad I post at all!! j/k... basically I don't have time. Well, I do but I'd rather devote the little time I have outside work to build and establish relationships with friends and when I get a few minutes while on my break at work I might try to post something but most times my tummy over rules my head and food just has to come first (right Harm!)
Anyway, life is good, busy but good. I have to admit that as much as I ragged on Michigan this past winter - I love this time of year, from the rain all the way to the breezy sunny 60-75 degree days that I can't seem to get enough of! but enough of weather, i hope you all are doing well and I shall talk to you soon (maybe here, maybe there... who knows?)
| Hey Aunt Barb - here's your update. I have negative 5 minutes till I was supposed to leave for Libby's birthday dinner so that's why this is so stinkin' short! Isn't this sunshine amazing!!!!!!!!! | | |
| I have to make this really quick but I wanted to say hi to everybody - to those out of state, (or the country) I miss you all tons - to those here, you need to show your faces more often!
Also, can I just say that lamar park is my favorite place in the world? specially with the sun setting - it's amazing!
Read Acts 22-23 and tell me what you think - if anything stands out to you.
Much love friends... bye!
